I just returned from a week in the woods. All by myself. Something I’ve wanted to do since I was 16. I slept in my hammock above a rushing river under a blanket of stars. I ate rehydrated backpackers’ food from pouches while squatting on a rock in the middle of the river. I hiked all day. I danced. I dreamt. I sang. I gave thanks. I was Me. It felt good. True. Simple. Pure. Wild. Real. More please. And though I am back, feeling more tamed than I’m ready for, a part of me lingers in the wild softness, solitude and serenity of my true Nature. Remembering. Anchoring. Integrating.

Still pinching myself to see posts like this one. To be an author among these authors is a dream come true 🌟💫🎉
